I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from Abilene Christian University before completing my Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry.
During my time in optometry school, I was an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists and the Student Optometric Practice Management Association. These roles enriched my education and provided me with invaluable experiences in the field.

I enjoy camping with my wife, Sarah, and our three children, Graham, Madelyn, and Brooks. We have made it our mission to explore the mountains of southern Colorado near Pagosa Springs and South Fork. My hobbies include fishing mountain streams and hiking the backcountry, often accompanied by our golden doodle, Charlie, who is an accomplished mountain hiker.
