Dr. Marc McLean
Dr. Marc McLean believes that great eye care is about more than just exams—it’s about building relationships and truly understanding each patient’s needs. A native of Abilene, he returned home to practice optometry and has loved caring for his community while watching the city grow. Honored for his academic achievements at the University of Houston College of Optometry, he is dedicated to providing personalized, collaborative care that helps patients achieve their best quality of life. Outside the clinic, Dr. McLean and his wife, Sarah, are active in their church and local outreach efforts, recognizing the importance of strong community leadership. Their children attend Wylie schools, where they’ve seen firsthand the district’s exciting growth. Passionate about both his profession and his hometown, Dr. McLean is committed to investing in the people and businesses that make Abilene a great place to live.

Mandi
Company Manager
Meet Mandi, one of our two company managers for all locations. She brings nearly two decades of dedication and expertise in our company to our ever growing practice. Her role is crucial in company marketing, in harmonizing the operations across our clinics, connecting people and building relationships, ensuring that staff and patients receive the support they need.
Mandi has been married for over 22 years and she cherishes family time. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two sons, whether they are playing board games, watching soccer together, or staying active.
She loves building personal connections with patients and making them feel welcomed and valued.
Crystal
Crystal is a company manager for all locations and has been a vital part of the Advanced Eyecare & Vintage Eyewear team for 16 years. Her role is pivotal in company finances, detailed attention to company systems and processes, developing managers, ensuring the smooth operation of all locations, as she combines her extensive experience with a commitment to patient care and office efficiency.
Crystal has been married for over 20 years. She and her husband love spending time with their two girls in soccer and basketball and other sports. And while she is a “numbers person” she has a passion for refurbishing and restoring beauty to furniture and cabinetry.
She takes great pride in giving her heart and mind to the company to create an exceptional, caring experience for our patients.
Briana
Briana has been with Advanced Eyecare for 3 years and is our Dry Eye Specialist for our Abilene location. She really enjoys using new and advancing technology in our state-of-the-art Dry Eye Spa. Each experience in our spa is customized to the individual being treated. Briana is very knowledgeable in all of the treatments offered and strives to make every patient feel comfortable and cared for.
Jessica
Jessica is the Myopia Management Specialist at our Abilene location. Progressive Myopia in children is the increase of nearsightedness, which, if left untreated, can lead to future retinal pathologies. Jessica helps aid the doctors by working one on one with each of our patients to customize treatments needed to help slow myopia progression. What she loves the most is seeing the thrill of children experiencing clear vision for the first time! Jessica is married to her husband, Adam, and together they have 4 fur babies! In her free time, She enjoys spending time with her family, photography, and gardening.
Kaylie
Accounts Receivable and Insurance Specialist
Kaylie has been a valued member of the team for six years. Initially part of the optical department at our Abilene location, Kaylie now manages accounts and insurance matters from Louisiana.
Married for 14 years and a mother to Caleb and Braylie, she enjoys family time, whether supporting her son at archery tournaments or cheering on her daughter at dance performances. Kaylie has a creative spirit and enjoys crafting and baking custom cookies.
Taylor
Onboarding Department Lead
Taylor has been with Advanced Eyecare for 7 years. For the past 4 years, she has proudly served as the lead of Onboarding. In addition to her Onboarding responsibilities, she manages insurance coordination for the office.
Outside of work, Taylor values quality time with her husband and son. She likes to watch movies and tv, read, and play video games.
Caitlyn
Lead Optician
Caitlyn is our lead optician for the Abilene Office and has been in our optical department for 8 years! She is originally from Snyder, Texas and has been happily married to her husband, Josh and together they have a wonderful son, Luke and daughter, Rowan. In her free time, Caitlyn enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and baking! Caitlyn loves what she does as an optician because she has the opportunity to help give sight to the community and work beside others that bring out the best in her and those around her!
Britney
As the Front Desk Lead at Advanced Eyecare, Brittany brings three years of experience focused on delivering exceptional patient service and maintaining an efficient, welcoming environment. Brittany is married to her high school sweetheart and is a proud mom of three. Much of her time outside the office is spent at the ballpark, cheering on her kids in baseball and softball.
