Dr. Madison Salmon is a dedicated optometrist at Advanced Eyecare & Vintage Eyewear, providing comprehensive eye care. Born and raised in upstate New York, Dr. Salmon’s educational and professional journey has taken her from Pennsylvania to Florida before finally settling in Abilene in 2021. Her patient-first approach and commitment to community care have made her a cherished team member.
Education & Experience
I began my educational journey at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I continued my education at Nova Southeastern College of Optometry, earning a Bachelor’s in Vision Science and my Doctorate degree. Nova Southeastern honored me with the Faculty Choice Award of Excellence and the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award. I also served on the board of the local chapter of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.

I’m a tennis player and gardener who loves taking long walks to explore the beautiful Texas landscape with my husband and our two dogs. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the patients of Abilene and Eastland and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in their lives.
